The personal data we process varies according to the reason we are in contact with you.

I. If you engage with us via the CONTACT/HEARING/BE A PARTNER form on our website, we collect your name, email, and phone number to provide the requested service or clarifications.

II. We may process personal data such as name and contact information when we want to reach out to potential clients who have expressed interest in the services and/or products we offer.

III. Our clients are registered in our databases so that we can comply with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as provide support, guidance, and warranty services. For this purpose, we collect registration data such as full name, identification documents, and contact details.

IV. If you provide us with services, we will collect data that allows us to contact you and execute the contract, such as name, identification documents, and contact information.

V. We may also collect images in photos and videos of people who access our premises, which is done through monitoring and electronic surveillance systems adopted for the security of the location and protection of individuals.

VI. If you are our employee, we collect personal data to execute the contract and fulfill legal obligations, such as registration data, identification documents, and professional information.

VII. We also collect data from professionals who apply for positions within the Ascensus Group. This data is processed to evaluate the suitability of candidates for job positions and to create a talent pool. For this purpose, we collect registration data such as name, identification documents, professional information, and contact details. 2. In what cases will we process sensitive data? What exactly is this data?

Any data related to an identified or identifiable individual that could lead to discrimination, embarrassment, or threats is considered sensitive data. We collect sensitive data only from our employees to comply with our legal duties and contractual obligations, within the legitimate bases provided by law:

I. Protection of the life or physical integrity of the data subject or third parties;

II. Ensuring the prevention of fraud and the security of the data subject in identification and authentication processes for electronic systems;

III. Regular exercise of rights, including in contracts and judicial processes;

4. How is the data processed?

The personal data processed by the Ascensus Group is protected against unauthorized access, loss, theft, or modification through the adoption of technical measures and information security management controls. These controls range from management measures such as the privacy policy and confidentiality obligations to technical measures such as access permission control to systems, activity auditing, intrusion detection, and response tools, among others.

Despite these measures, the Ascensus Group is not responsible for the misuse that its clients, service providers, followers, and employees may make of their own data, nor for the bad faith of third parties, exempting itself from the obligation to repair damages arising from security incidents or data breaches caused by invasions, failures, or defects, unless it is proven that they were caused by the deliberate or negligent conduct of the Ascensus Group itself.

The storage of personal data processed by the Ascensus Group is carried out in systems and platforms intended for the management of the internal activities of our teams. Such systems have controlled access based on rules that limit access only to employees who need to use them to carry out the declared purposes.
